Lewis Regen is a Teacher Certified in Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Ba Gua, Bodywork and Yoga.
Since 2010, Lewis has guided thousands of students toward greater health, vitality and balance through these essential Mindbody practices. Lewis is certified by the Chinese Traditional Martial Arts and Cultural Exchange Association, Holden Qi Gong, Five Branches University, Ashtanga Yoga Institute and the Cypress Health Institute as well as others. He offers classes in Santa Cruz, as well as online lessons for all levels. As a Masterclass Instructor for Holden Qi Gong, Lewis also trains and certifies teachers through the internationally recognized Qi Gong Teacher Training Program. Lineage & Training
Lewis began his Qi Gong journey in 2009 with Lee Holden, L.Ac., an internationally respected Qi Gong Master. In 2010, he traveled with Lee to Thailand to study with Grandmaster Mantak Chia, one of the world’s foremost teachers of Taoist Mindbody practices.
In 2011, Lewis began studying with Grandmaster Shifu Jia Shu Sen (贾树森) — a National Martial Arts Champion, Medical Doctor, and President of the Beijing Ba Gua Research Institute. After eight years of intensive training, Lewis became a Lineage Holder of the Ba Gua Grandmaster Sun Zhi Jun (孙志君) in 2019.
He also studied advanced Qi Gong energy healing and Ba Gua with Grandmaster Zhou Ting Jue from 2011 to 2015, integrating ancient energy practices into modern wellness and teaching.
